Retired Land Bank of the Philippines employee and former branch manager; prosecution witness
She testified that, for the transaction discussed, the OVP Cash Division called the branch a day or two beforehand to advise of a ₱125 million encashment.
Asked about reporting information, Constantino invoked AMLA confidentiality. She separately said that there was nothing illegal in the encashment she discussed; that was her testimony, not a court finding.
Nenita Camposano
Retired Land Bank of the Philippines department manager; prosecution witness
Camposano was directed to the witness stand and testified that the same process applied to the three checks: the DepEd Cash Division first called to reserve cash, with each check amounting to ₱37.5 million.
She described a covered transaction as automatically reported to the AMLC when it exceeds ₱500,000, while a suspicious transaction requires a doubtful basis and an STR.
Camposano declined to divulge STR-reporting information and said that not every unusual transaction is reported as suspicious.
