The examination displayed Article VII, Section 6 while discussing the stricter financial-interest restrictions on the President and Vice President. Later examination addressed constitutional impeachment grounds and the State's imprescriptible right to recover unlawfully acquired wealth.

Justice Tang described unexplained wealth as governed by RA 1379 in relation to RA 3019. Counsel later displayed and read RA 1379's Section 8 during the framework examination, and Tang restated its prima-facie standard in response to a senator-judge.

The witness referred to RA 6713 in explaining that cash on hand and cash in bank must be specifically declared in a SALN rather than lumped with other personal property.

Senator-Judge Francis Pangilinan asked about the defense's Rule 129 judicial-notice objection and the witness agreed with his distinction between the ordinary judiciary and the Senate impeachment court.

Defense counsel read and attributed a passage to the Supreme Court's Duterte decision in questioning Justice Tang about constitutional process in impeachment. Tang agreed with the quotation but said she had not read the entire decision.
